Privacy policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

Debounx is an independent IT and AI consultancy. This page explains what data this website collects, why it is collected, and how to exercise your rights. It covers this website only, not the websites of clients or other third parties linked from it.

Who is responsible

Debounx is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact support@debounx.com.

What this site collects

This is a static marketing site. It sets no analytics or advertising cookies and runs no tracking scripts. The audit form runs entirely in your browser: it composes an email in your own mail app and sends nothing to us until you choose to send it. The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com and loads only on the booking page.

  • Audit form. Name, email, company, workflow, timeline, and notes stay in your browser until your mail app sends the message. This site does not store them.
  • Information you send by email. If you contact us, we receive your email address, name, and whatever you choose to include in the message.
  • Technical logs. The provider that hosts this site may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp to deliver and secure the site.
  • Booking calendar. On the booking page, Cal.com loads an embedded scheduler. It receives your IP address and browser details, and processes the name, email, and time you enter. Cal.com may set cookies or local storage. Its own privacy policy applies.
  • Font requests. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading them sends your IP address and browser details to Google.

Why we use it

  • To reply to enquiries and discuss potential work.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure this website.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations where they apply.

We do not use personal data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Consent and permitted purposes

Where Canadian privacy law applies, we collect, use, and disclose personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and with consent where required. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by emailing us.

Sharing and transfers

Data is shared only with service providers needed to run this site and communicate with you, such as the hosting provider, Google Fonts, and Cal.com for booking. We do not sell personal data. Some providers may process data outside Canada; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, and we remain accountable for personal information handled by those providers.

Retention

Enquiry emails are kept while the conversation or engagement is active, then for up to 24 months for reference, unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider under its own schedule.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion or restriction of processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Receive data you provided in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

Email support@debounx.com to exercise a right. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in Canada and are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Third-party links

This site links to client and external websites. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before sharing data with them.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site or our tools change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
